No. A Japanese manicure uses mineral-rich paste and fine powder buffed into your natural nails. It gives a subtle sheen without gel, BIAB, acrylic, coloured polish or extensions.

Can I book if I currently have gel, BIAB or acrylic?
Those products need to be removed first because a Japanese manicure is performed on natural nails. We generally do not recommend booking it immediately after a full removal, when freshly exposed nails may be sensitive. Please ask us if you are unsure when to book.
